JewishCare runs a person centred social enterprise which provides employment services for supported employees at Print35 Design Studio. Print35 employs people with a disability to produce the highest quality products including digital and hand crafted invitations, brochures and flyers, annual reports and business cards, birthday and corporate stickers and gifts.

Job Description
The Process Worker position will teach you new skills that will help you make things such as invitations, package serviettes and cards, mailouts and wrap gifts. As you get better at these skills (personal development) you will feel proud of the things that you will make and do. We also offer training on computer skills and opportunity to progress to Workshop Assistant with increased responsibilities.
Process Worker Tasks and Responsibilities
Packaging cards and serviettes into cello bags
Scoring Cards
Folding Cards
Operating the booklet maker
Cutting ribbons
Gift wrapping
Mail outs
Help with tidying up in the workshop, kitchen and lunchroom
Assist with retail selling at Print35 show and pop-up stalls
Packaging incontinence pads in bags
Packaging scrubs into cellophane bags
Operating the cello glazing machine
Work Environment
You will work with many other people, these people are your team and some employees have an intellectual disability. Team work is very important at Print35 and you need to always respect your team members.
You will have a workshop manager and coordinator to provide training and support during your work day.
Work hours
Working hours - 9.00am to 3.00pm
You will have two breaks each day:
1. A morning tea break at 10.30am for 30 minutes
2. An unpaid lunch break at 12.15pm for 45 minutes
Desired Skills and Experience
Eligibility Criteria
To gain access to Print35, participants must meet the following criteria:
• Have the desire to work and be willing to commit 12 hours per week
• Require ongoing support to maintain employment
• Agree to participate in an Individual Employment Plan and Wage Assessment
• Agree to follow the National Disability Standards
• Have NDIS funding and have a Disability Support Pension
• Complete and sign a JewishCare /Print35 Service Agreement
• Agree to follow the JewishCare/Print35 Code of Conduct
