JewishCare has been the major service provider for vulnerable members of our community for over 85 years. We are currently in a phase of transformation and as part of this growth and change, we are seeking a passionate Learning and Development Coordinator to join our People & Culture team.
Job Description
We have an exciting new Learning & Development Coordinator role that will be responsible for identifying, coordinating and delivering L&D programs for our people that meet the regulatory requirements of both the NDIS and Aged Care Commission.
A key focus of the role will be to oversee the technical and administrative requirement for our learning and management system (go1) as well as managing relationships with a range of external training providers.
As the first point of contact for all Learning & Development matters, specific aspects of your new role include.
System champion and owner of our Learning Management System (LMS), go1. This includes setup of new courses, managing enrolments and checking completion of mandatory modules, ad hoc reporting and responding to user queries.
Management and coordination of face to face learning programs, including scheduling, venue booking, room bookings, catering, pre and post participant communications and room set up.
Support managers and employees with LMS troubleshooting and administration.
Management of the Learning and Development inbox for staff and manager learning enquiries.
Partner with teams and department managers to understand training needs and identify training solutions.
Coordinate our JewishCare Orientation program and support our weekly ‘new starter’ inductions.
Project support for the People & Culture team aligned with the organisation strategic priorities and employee development needs.
Processing of invoices and setting up suppliers relating to learning, organisational development and wider P& C programs.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you:
Tertiary qualification in Business, HR, L&D or related field.
Experience in a similar role or seeking an opportunity to take your next step.
Super organised with exceptional time management skills and the ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
High computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical and technical data skills, including data analysis and interpretation.
Experience in using help centres for troubleshooting and multimedia design programs.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to build key working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
