As part of the People and Culture team, this position provides a wide range of humanresources (HR) and industrial relations (IR) advice to the operational business units within JewishCare to improve the capabilities and performance of both individuals and teams. This is a true partnership role which demonstrates exceptional customer service standards.
This is a Permanent Full-time position and Flexible Working Arrangements to work from home and the office may be considered.

Duties
Provide quality/timely advice to our Managers/Employees on a wide range of HR subjects across the employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance monitoring and offboarding.
Interpretation of legislation, awards and policies and their application.
Provide advice to managers in the resolution of team issues including performance management, grievances, investigations, role changes and remuneration reviews.
Encourage a proactive and positive culture within JewishCare.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Tertiary qualification in a Human Resources Management discipline
5+ years’ experience in a HR generalist role
Proven experience in providing HR solutions, coaching, advice, and support.
Experience in interpreting and applying employee related legislation, awards, and policy.
Highly developed problem-solving, HR policy development and analytical skills
